Epogen (EPOETIN ALFA) is a glycoprotein used to treat anemia. ThrivingPets.com sells Epogen in 5-packs. Epogen is an older form of Erythropoietin. Some veterinary research institutions, most notably UC Davis, have exclusively used Aranesp for many years with great results so you may want to check into Aranesp as well. Epogen orders will only be shipped Monday through Thursday because of the special shipping requirements.
