Description

Phenobarbital is most commonly used to treat seizure disorders including epilepsy in dogs and cats. It has also been used as a sedative. Phenobarbital is a controlled substance that requires an original, written prescription including the DEA number of the vet and a copy of the DEA license of the veterinarian.
