Sodium Chloride is used for the treatment of dehydration and electrolyte depletion in animals. May be injected intravenously, subcutaneously or intraperitoneally (except horses) using aseptic technique. Sodium Chloride Inj 0.9% is sometimes called Normal Saline.
IMPORTANT: During the winter months there is a danger of freezing which could cause the fluid to expand and burst the bags of fluid. Please make sure there is someone home to receive the shipment or that there is a place to leave the package where it will not freeze. We will not replace fluids which have not been handled appropriately.
